It was New Year’s eve of 2007 and me and a couple o my friends spend the night by squeezing with a lot of people in the middle of Parliament Square in Westminster, London since 10pm just to catch a glimpse of New Year 2008 fireworks.

Eilean Donan Castle

One of the most photogenic castle in Scotland, Eilean Donnan castle is located in Lock Duich in the highlands of Scotland. The castle is located in a small island and is connected to the mainland by a footbridge. We stopped by this island while following a backpacker trip in Scotland highlands.

Eilean Donnan is located on the western highlands. On a clear day, you could probably see Isle of Skye but during my visit it was quite cloudy.

Hairy Coo

Hairy Coo is a famous Scottish breed highland cattle. A very unique cow with their long hairs to protect them during winter.

Glen Coe

Glen Coe is one of the most beautiful place in Scotland. Many have climbed up high just to take a magnificent and grand view from the top. The backpacker bus that i followed stopped by this magnificent glen for a rest and the stream is just at the roadside.

I wish i could climb up high to take the whole view of Glen Coe but we were there for only 15-20 minutes. This is a place you must visit when you go to Scotland Highlands.

Moulin Rouge

Moulin Rouge or Red Windmill in french is one of the famous tourist spot in Paris’ red light district. However, Moulin Rouge is one of the most famous carabet in the world and you wouldn’t want to miss it if you could afford to pay for the ticket.

Eiffel Tower

One of the famous landmark in the world, Eiffel Tower stands proudly near Siene River. A visit to Paris is incomplete without visiting Eiffel Tower.

Arc de Triomphe

Tulips

Spring is here and the flowers are blooming. Tulips are one of my favourite during spring because of its unique bulb shape and its colourful nature.

Alnwick Castle

Alnwick Castle is located in the town of Alnwick, Northumberland and is the residence of the duke of Northumberland. This castle is a popular filming spot. Scenes from Harry Potter, where Harry Potter first learn to ride the broomstick and play Quidditch is filmed inside this castle.
